One cup of Strawberry contains an incredible 136 percent of the RDA of Vitamin C that helps to lower blood pressure. It also contains 21 percent of manganese that acts as a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, helps in maintaining proper bone structure.

When a woman consumed more than one serving of strawberries a month had a 16.2 percent slower rate of mental decline rather than those who consumed less.

Anti-inflammatory, the phenols in the fruit can fight against osteoarthritis, asthma, and atherosclerosis. Anti-cancer, when the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory are combine, can fight against the onset of many different forms of cancer.
