How Laughter Yoga Help You?


Laughter is the best medicine, that’s why Laughter Yoga came out and was founded by Dr. Madan and Madhuri Kataria in India. It evolves the form of yoga which becomes famous in the country which people use laughter as its main principle. Laughter Yoga is also called “Lyoga”.

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual disciple that aims to accomplish of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility. It was originated in ancient India. The benefit of yoga is good for the physical, mental to the body and mind.



Dr. Kataria was conducted a study and found out that our bodies release a cock tail of hormones and chemicals that have a startling positive effects on our system as we laugh. The benefits are it can reduce stress, blood pressure drops and it lifted the people who are depress and it boost immune system.
In the Philippines, Laughter yoga was introduced by Elvie Estavillo in 2008. She created a club called, Laughter Yoga Club of the Philippines. “I love to laugh and I carry laughter wherever I go and I can say that it really reinforce positive response. So I somehow concluded that many Filipinos need laughter to help them relax and de-stress,” says Elvie.

Laughter Yoga is the best way to relax, reduce stress, enlighten when feeling down and boost immune system.
